4th March 2007 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: SE Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 10.5 Sea Temperature: Weather: 100% Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: This morning I stitched my wetsuit from the inside to try and get the rest of the winter out of it. Seemed to work as it didn't let in so much cold water. Today looked rubbish. Gusty and full of rain. Out on it it was quite powerful at times and nice to get some gybes in the full wind instead of 'lake shadow'. THe direction took us straight out the full 2/3 mile down the other end into the bird sanctuary. Good day if you want speed as it was so flat. My 5.4 has 2 small holes and I cannot be arsed to repair them, as it is now it's 6th season, and I got it off boardwise ex-Vass. New one I think. |
